1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Vet.AI Assistant service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is offered from Canada and is intended for users in Canada; applicable law may vary by province or territory.
2. Description of Service
The Service provides AI-assisted pet health information, preliminary assessments, and tools to help you manage your pet's health records. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. You must consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis, treatment, and medical advice.
3. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.
4. Use of Information and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have read and accept the Privacy Policy. We will use your data only as described there and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA and provincial laws where applicable).
5. No Professional Relationship
The Service does not create a veterinarian–client relationship. Content provided is for informational purposes only. Always seek in-person veterinary care when your pet is unwell or for routine care.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vet.AI Assistant and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, if any.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated by email where we have your consent.
